The NIIH has an alternative health section, and only what has been approved by them will be allowed. That includes acupuncture, which has been proven to be successful in some types of illnesses.

    That’s pretty interesting considering he’s a smoker.

  4. Some of the top medical institutions in this country are using integrative medicine so what are you ranting about.

  5. Whuh? Why are you criticizing this? Are you a Doctor? If not, STFU

Yeah, the doctors really have a frikkin clue about the medications they prescribe, don’t they? I’ll take alternative therapy and integrative medicine over western medicine any day. The system we have now is completely run by the drug companies. They develop a drug and make up an illness to fit it. Doctors use rule-out diagnosis as a diagnosis. We ignore environmental factors and just push drugs, Lord help them they should actually CURE anything, no, they wouldn’t make money if they cured illness, so they just treat the symptoms and don’t find the cause.

It is estimated that possibly as many as 40% of the baby boom generation has heavy metal poisoning due to lead paints, mercury fillings, etc. all the toxins that have since “supposedly” been removed from our environment, and yet we ignore the fact that fibromyalgia – the biggest fraud – is a made up illness to explain the pain people are in that is caused by toxins, the heart disease that is caused by toxins – toxins that could EASILY be removed. But then, of course, that’s experimental and not covered by insurance.

It is covered by the VA though – makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

Alternative therapy isn’t “proper medication”? Nature provides us w/ all we need-not Pharmacon. I think that aromatherapy for heart patients paid for by taxpayers is a little ridiculous though because plants are free and distillation isn’t that hard to do. Maybe everyone needs to sniff a little lavender and relax :)
