Natural Birthing Complications, Episode #289

Forgive me for asking this incredibly obvious question, but if you’ve already had a complication that required you to be sent to the hospital, don’t you think it’d make sense for you to just have your next one at the hospital?
God forbid you have a complication that can’t wait 15 minutes for your midwife to drive you to the hospital.
I had two homebirths, planned on having my fourth at home as well, and my sons umbilical cord prolapsed, so I ended up having to have an emergency c-section. I am still all for homebirth, but you must be prepared for anything.
can someone spell the name of the herb she used to get the placenta out? I am planning a home birth (first child) and would like to prepare myself for it! Please!
Exact same thing happened to my mum, though she was in the hospital, I forgot if it was with me or my lil sis… The doctor had to get his hand in to get the rest of the plasenta out and she almost bled to death..
The same thing happened to me with bleeding! Mine wasn’t to that extent, but it’s great to know those herbs for next time.
A lovely energy syster, a warrioress, yes take her with you into your blessed sacred space -she fits! xx
gosh , i never knew that birthing could envolve all that , gosh
I’m glad to hear Summer speak about this. I had the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE of the placenta not separating and nearly bleeding to death. I am so interested in the use of herbs in the process of childbirth! I would love to be able to sit down and have a conversation with Summer.
Wow thank you so much for this. summer is so interesting, love the way she describes giving birth and the relationship of mother to baby at the very start. Great share thanks.
